Aims of the Association:
1. To encourage people with Down syndrome to fulfill their potential for successful and happy lives, in a society that knows their abilities and is supportive of their needs.
2. To contact parents of newly born babies with Down Syndrome as early as possible and to provide counselling and support particularly in the early stages of a baby's life.
3. To represent the interests and needs of people with Down syndrome in all aspects of life and individuals needs, as members of the family and the community.
4. To increase public awareness and understanding of the nature of Down Syndrome people so they may lead a rewarding and full life.
5. To press for better services and greater choice in the facilities offered to children and adults with Down Syndrome, such as education, therapy, training and independent living.
6. To support professionals in their work and research of Down Syndrome.

Aims: MACC aims to offer support and information to persons and relatives of persons suffering from Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, and to promote public awareness about these two chronic conditions. MACC strives to help patients suffering from these conditions to enhance their self-confidence, improve their quality of life and improve their overall wellbeing. MACC also strives to promote patients' needs and rights and to encourage and promote research on these conditions.
MACC became affiliated with the European Federation of Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis Associations (EFCCA) during the annual general conference of EFCCA held in Helsinki, Finland in April, 2010.
