The competency-mix of the Foundation for Medical Services is ideally suited to ensure the successful management of projects. The Foundation's team of experts is dedicated to ensuring quality solutions and the Foundation's project management capabilities include expertise in defining project specifications; developing processes; developing and managing complex schedules; budget planning and forecasting; and implementing value-management reporting systems.


The Foundation for Medical Services applies the principles of the PRINCE2® process model to the definition and management of projects.


These principles are applied to:

  •    Project scoping & definition;
  •    Articulation of requirements specification & analysis reports;
  •    Design and implementation of project management control activities including quality and risk      planning;
  •    Development of processes;
  •    Baseline scheduling & resource allocation activities;
  •    Financial planning and forecasting;
  •    Reporting;
  •    Post-implementation reviews.

The Foundation for Medical Services applies a systematic approach to the project management process; and works closely with experts of the Ministry for Health; other stakeholders; and partners to provide end-to-end services. Foundation personnel are fully proficient in major enterprise software applications commonly used within a project management control environment.
